Label TextJohn McNee & Sons operated their handmade cigar manufacturing business in London from 1897-1920. By law, cigars needed to be packaged in wooden boxes to be sold. In many cases, cigars were sold right from the box in stores, leading to cigar boxes having unique labels on both the outside and inside lids.
