Label TextThe rabbet plane belonged to George Jeffery (1837-1899), a cabinet maker in London. He used the plane to cut rabbets, or small steps, in wood. Jeffery also helped build houses. According to his son George, London’s 135 and 137 James Street are among his father’s projects.
