Label TextThomas Wilmot Stone, from Essex County, enlisted with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry on July 1, 1915. He was disabled by a wound received on September 15, 1916 and was honourably discharged about a year later. Stone received this Victory Medal. The medal was awarded to all ranks of the fighting forces, to civilians under contract, and others employed with military hospitals who actually served on the establishment of a unit in a theatre of war between August 5, 1914 and November 11, 1918 (inclusive).
