Label TextJohn G. Richter of the London Life Insurance Company saved this invitation to remind him of the banquet he attended to honour Edward, Prince of Wales. He became, for a short time King Edward VIII. The prince visited London in October of 1919. The banquet at the Tecumseh Hotel was among the different events organized to celebrate his presence.
