Label TextThis is a Stevely and Son tin quart measuring cup. Tinsmith William Stevely, originally from Wardsville, operated a business and lived at 362 Richmond Street in London as of 1878. By 1900, William and his son, Samuel (later a London mayor from 1908 to 1909), were producing a range of tinware. As well, they sold and installed stoves and furnaces. Samuel took over the business in 1917.
