Label TextThis view of Richmond Street North was from the Grand Trunk Railway (G.T.R.) depot that once stood on York Street. The G.T.R. was the leading railway in Ontario and Quebec in the late 19th-century, connecting Toronto and Montreal. It would later be amalgamated with the Canadian National Railways (C.N.R.).
