Label TextThis black and white urn is an example of bisque or biscuit pottery. Bisqueware is fired without a glaze, in temperatures between 950 - 1160 degrees Celsius which makes it very durable. It can be fired a second time with a glaze, giving it a matte finish due to the porous nature of bisqueware.
