Label TextWilfred Traher (b.1873) wrote the words and composed the music for this song written to mark London’s centennial in 1926. It is as much a booster song as a celebratory one. Proud Londoners are encouraged to write to friends and family around the globe. The leaflet says: “[ask] them to have it sung from their nearest radio station…during the next few wonderful weeks,…millions instead of thousands will hear of London, Ontario, Canada.”
