Label TextIn the early 1880s, Lawson & Jones began printing labels for doctors and pharmacists. Frank Lawson had learned that there was no local producer of these labels. Since demand was high, their business flourished. They continued to innovate in the mid-1880s when they began to use pre-gummed paper for these labels. Users no longer had to have a glue pot at the ready.
