Label TextThis lotion bottle came from Strong's Drug Store, located at 184 Dundas Street. A 1902 advertisement in the London Advertiser stated: "Not everyone can be beautiful, but the plainest face is made attractive by a clear, pure skin. Balm-Zoin, a toilet lotion of great excellence, removes all blemishes caused by cold winds, hard water and exposure. Rough, red and hard skin made soft and white." The drug store was well-known in the city and operated from the 1870s until after the 1940s.
