Hall wore it as he co-coached the team, winners of the Juvenile Ontario Baseball Association Ontario Championship in 1983. The Byron Optimist’s, a popular London minor baseball association, began in the 1950s. The Optimist Club focuses on youth involvement, and receives support from the “Opti-Mrs” club. Clubs like these offer key administrative and organizational support for London baseball.
