Label TextThis package of Gestetner stencil paper came from St. James-Westminster Church. The stencil paper would be used with a duplicating machine. Duplicating machines were used for reproducing newsletters and notices without having to rely on an outside printer. Stencils were used with duplicating machines, creating patterns and designs that could be printed on church publications, allowing for a great deal of customization. Gestetner duplicating and stencil products were popular with churches, schools, organizations, and offices. They had an office in London at 465 Richmond Street, now Talbot Centre, in the 1960's. The company had a wide range of products including ink rollers, stencil paper, stamps, and tracing tools.
