Label TextThis University of Western Ontario button was likely given out to freshman students during the week before classes began, known as "Frosh Week". In the university’s earlier years, freshmen wore such buttons to make them stand out. More senior students could then call on them to perform various favours, such as carrying textbooks or giving up their bus seats.
