Label TextThis electrocardiograph was owned by the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Western Ontario (UWO) and records indicate it was the first electrocardiograph used in London, Ontario. An accompanying instruction booklet is inscribed with the name "Dr. G. W. Manning, MD". Dr. George Manning was a cardiologist who came to UWO in 1947. He worked for 41 years at University and Victoria Hospitals.
