Label TextLabatt Brewing Company Limited won the Silver medal at The Brewing, Bottling & Allied Trades Exhibition in 1960. After his father's death in 1866, John Labatt II (1838-1915) officially took over Labatt Brewing Company in 1872. The company would become the largest brewery in Canada. He began to enter the company’s products into Canadian and international competitions. Winning medal after medal, the company gained fame and sales grew.
