Label TextJohn Sackville Labatt (1880-1952) joined the company in 1900, and was the third of that name to serve as President. In 1950, Labatt’s introduced its Golden Anniversary Ale to celebrate John’s 50 years with the company. Customers enjoyed this lighter brew, which was later renamed Labatt 50.
