Label TextLabatt’s produced XXX Stout, among other popular products, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The John Labatt Brewery won a gold medal for his stout and ale at London’s Western Fair in 1890. John Kinder Labatt (1803-1866) took the helm of the London Brewery (est. 1828) in 1855, calling it John Labatt’s Brewery. With the railway, the business expanded across Canada.
