Label TextIn 1882, William Wortman and Frank Ward launched their company, Wortman & Ward on the southwest corner of York and William streets. It primarily manufactured agricultural implements. One of their best selling items was the 'Daisy' butter churn. In 1912, Wortman & Ward were bought out by the Beatty Brothers Company, a small appliance manufacturer.
