Label TextIn 1978, London was the first centre in North America to study the insulin pump, which was developed in the UK. Eventually, after two clinical trials – KROC and DCCT – in 1994, the American Diabetes Association awarded its gold medal to the researchers in 29 cities across Canada and the United States. Dr. Wilson Rodger was intimately associated with diabetes and insulin delivery research.
