Label TextLondon photographer, Ron Nelson, took this image of the Wendell Holmes Bookshop around 1945. Nelson began his career as a photographer in 1932. After serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 to 1946, Nelson took up his photography business again in 1946. In that year, he received a license from the city and established Ron Nelson Photography. The business did primarily commercial and aerial work. In 1985, Nelso began to wind up his business. He died in 1994.
