Label TextThis is a circa 1960s GSW Spiralator washing machine. “Spiralator” is a trade name introduced by the Easy Washing Machine Company in Toronto, which was purchased in 1958, by GSW. GSW was formed by the 1927 merger of five companies. In addition to London’s McClary’s, the new company included Sheet Metal Products of Canada, Toronto, Thomas Davidson Manufacturing Company Limited, Montreal, E. T. Wright Limited, Hamilton, Ontario, and A. Aubry et fils Limitée, Montreal.
