Label TextThis is an interior view of Federal Foundries & Steel. The company began in 1902 as the Dominion Rolling Mills Co. Ltd. (later the London Rolling Mills) plant, at 529 Philip Street, near Adelaiade Street and the south branch of the Thames. It processed scrap metal from factories like McClary's, which built a factory next door in 1904. The company closed in the early 1930s, and reopened in 1941 as Federal Foundries & Steel, Co.
