Label TextThis postcard depicts a view of Springbank Park, the Pipeline Road, the Thames River, and in the far distance, the city of London. The image was possibly taken from atop "Reservoir Hill." In 1878, London’s new waterworks began operations. The surrounding grounds became Springbank Park. Among its amenities was a pavilion, playing fields, and picnic grounds.
