Label TextThis is a badge from the London Old Boys Reunion in 1905. Several former Londoners founded the London Old Boys in Toronto in 1896. They inaugurated an annual event that would draw former Londoners back to the city. Upon their return, they would have occasion to visit friends and family but also to be inspired by London’s growth and development. The booklet that accompanied the badge told readers that London was “peculiarly rich in its happy combination of progressive resourcefulness, industrial contentment, thrift, education, good health, and recreation.”
