Credit LineCollection of Museum London, 1994
Object number1994.058.002
Label TextThis badge is a souvenir from the 1905 London Old Boys’ reunions. Several former Londoners founded the London Old Boys in Toronto in 1896. They hoped to promote investment in their hometown. During each reunion, organizers ensured everyone had fun. They planned games, picnics, and concerts, among other activities. The booklet that accompanied the pin told readers that London was “peculiarly rich in its happy combination of progressive resourcefulness, industrial contentment, thrift, education, good health, and recreation.”
