Label TextLondon's Silverwood's Diary used this Dalton adding machine in 1926. Advertisements for the machine noted that the United States government made ample use of the machines. In 1918, these advertisements recorded that the US government had 2000 such machines. By 1919, that number had grown to 3,000. Dalton merged with other companies in 1927 and became Remington Rand.
