Label TextThis ceramic dinner plate was used by Queens Avenue Methodist Church. Originally named North Street Methodist, the church was built on the corner of Queens Avenue and Clarence Streets. The original church burned down in 1895 and was rebuilt later that year. In 1925 the church joined the United Church of Canada and took the name Metropolitan United Church, which now stands on Wellington Street.
