Label TextThis ceramic toothbrush holder has an illustration of Hellmuth Ladies' College. The college was founded in 1869 and located on Richmond Street North, south of Windermere Road, with a view overlooking the Thames River. It was founded by Reverend Isaac Hellmuth and was focused on the study of arts and sciences, as well as offering lessons in social etiquette and dancing. This and other examples of souvenir china illustrated some of London’s best points with the objective of spurring further growth.
