Label TextJoseph P. Cook established a shoe store in 1900 at 167 Dundas where they stayed until 1990. Joseph’s father, Philip Cook was a shoe maker in London in the 1860s when the city’s three biggest shoe factories each employed over 100 people. The donor of these patent leather shoes wore them in the 1920s.
