Label TextThis photograph depicts a food truck parked at the Western Fair in 1950. The truck's lettering was painted by George Speake. Speake (1903-1981) was born in Birmingham, England. He was an artist and signwriter who settled in London, Ontario. In the 1920's he began working at The Signry Limited, a paint and sign shop which was later named C. E. Marley Limited.
