Label TextGeorge Edward Coleman established the Gaste Cigar Company in 1908, operating in London. By law, cigars needed to be packaged in wooden boxes to be sold. In many cases, cigars were sold right from the box in stores, leading to cigar boxes having unique labels on both the outside and inside lids.
