Label TextThis is a battery operated neutrodyne radio receiver from 1920. Improving on earlier tuned radio frequency receivers, it did not trouble users with the howl common in older sets. By 1927, some 10 million sets had been sold across North America. But by the 1930s, technological advances in vacuum tube manufacturing made radio receivers like this obsolete.
