Label TextFrancis Stewart Scott and John McHale formed the Scott-McHale Company around 1909. They manufactured high-quality men's and boys' shoes. As well, they produced boots for the Canadian military during both the First and Second World wars. Located at the corner of Bathurst and Richmond streets, Florsheim shoes bought Scott-McHalle out sometime between 1959 and 1963.
