Label TextLondon’s Hourd and Company Limited made these folding chairs in the 1940s. The company began to produce folding chairs and tables in about 1900 to satisfy the home entertainment market. Hourd and Company began operations as Dominion Baby Carriage in 1866 or 1867. It manufactured children’s carriages and sleighs, reed rattan chairs, and cradles. The company closed in the late 1950s.
