Label TextDaniel S. Perrin (1833-1908) established his biscuit and candy factory in the early 1860s. He manufactured gingersnaps and soda crackers as well as hard candy. The company grew, eventually shipping products to national and international markets. In 1926, Perrin's competitor, the McCormick Manufacturing Company, purchased the business and became the Canada Biscuit Company. That business changed hands over the years and closed in 2007.
