Label TextThis baseball cap was made as a sample for potential promotional merchandise intended to promote a 1987 exhibition of Jack Chambers works at the London Regional Art Gallery. The gallery amalgamated with the London Regional Historical Museum in 1989, creating Museum London. An important London artist, Chambers (1931-1978) produced many works that are now held in Museum London's collection. He was part of the London Regionalism movement that developed in the 1950s-1960s, creating work that centred around London as a city, home, and community.
