Label TextThese batting pads are from Kingsmills and were used by two Kingsmill sons, Thomas Ford Kingsmill (1891-1970) and George Frederick Kingsmill (1892-1973). The Kingsmill's Limited department store was founded as a dry goods store in London, Ontario in 1865 by Thomas Frazer Kingsmill (1840-1915). The store was located at 130 Dundas Street, where it operated from 1876-2014. It was operated by Kingsmill family descendants for its entire 148 years.
