Label TextThese vases are examples of milk glass. Milk glass has its distinct finish due to the particles having a particular dispersion and reacting to light scattering. Opacifiers such as bone ash, or tin dioxide are dissolved in molten glass. The finish can range from white, to blue and sometimes red-orange when light is aimed at it.
