Label TextKen Lilley bought this pennant at the Western Fair in 1949 to commemorate a fun-filled day. It was the perfect thing to buy for a young boy with just a little bit of spending money. London’s Western Fair was established in 1868. In 1887, the Fair moved from Victoria Park to its current home.The annual event showcased the agricultural, industrial, commercial, and artistic output of the region’s residents. Adapting to fair-goers' evolving tastes, it later added shows, a midway, and many other attractions.
