Label TextThis “Central” pennant is from London Central Secondary School. The school traces its history back through a number of London schools: the 1826 Grammar School; the 1849 Union School, renamed Central in 1865; and the 1877 London Collegiate Institute. The last named school, situated at Dufferin Avenue and Waterloo Street, burned in 1920. Two years later, Central opened on that site. The school still stands today.
