Label TextThis pennant displayed the school spirit of a student who attended the Sir Adam Beck Collegiate Institute. Located at 1250 Dundas Street, the school opened in January 1927.
Its sports teams enjoyed much success. For instance, the 1957 Beck Spartans, the school’s boys’ basketball team, won the Ontario championship. The team was inducted into the London Sports Hall of Fame in 2009 to recognize this achievement. The school honours Londoner Sir Adam Beck (1857-1925), a prominent businessman, politician, and hydroelectricity champion.
