Label TextThe Garage Restaurant, previously located at 73 King Street, London, Ontario, was a smorgasbord, buffet and sandwich lounge that opened in the 1970s. The building had been home to London Motors Ltd., the manufacturer of the London Six vehicle. London Motors ran from 1921 to 1924. The building then became home to Thomas R. Fauld's Chrysler Dealership in 1932. The glass was a souvenir gift for attending the Mother’s Day event in 1978 and has been stored since it was originally received by the Shirley Taylor, donor Grant Maltman's mother-in-law.
