Label TextThese shoes are from the Rowland Hill shoe store. Hill had begun work as a clerk for Cook's Shoes, working there until about 1900. At that time, he opened his own store in the east end of a commercial block called the Union Block. The business later moved to 203 Dundas. Rowland Hill's specialty was children’s footwear.
