Label TextElizabeth “Joan” Smith served as an M.P.P. for the London South riding from May 2, 1985 until September 5, 1990 as a member of the Ontario Liberal Party. In this time she held many roles from being the Deputy Government House Leader to the Solicitor General to the Commissioner of the Board of Internal Economy. These pamphlets showcase what she as a political leader felt was important information at the time to address the public with in regards to government issues. They were also meant to open a more transparent dialogue about political happenings and to share fragments of her time in the service of advocating for London constituents.
