Label TextThis suitcase belonged to Patsy Ritter who was resided at the London Protestant Home for Orphans, Aged and Friendless. Established in 1874, the London Protestant Home provided care to the most vulnerable members of society. In 1890, the child welfare system overtook the care of orphaned children, but the Home continued to provide care for children and families in crisis or transition. Today, the London Protestant Home continues to serve the community as the Marymount Family Support and Crisis City.
