Label TextAdalene Amelia Spencer nee Philips, was born September 17, 1849, in Detroit, Michigan and died January 3, 1930 in London. Adaline's father was John P. Philips Sr. who both resided and conducted business throughout New York, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois. He built his name in the lumber and steamboat industries. She is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
