Label TextIn 2014, cartoonist Seth inducted Merle "Ting" Tingley into the Giants of the North (now the Canadian Cartoonists) Hall of Fame (above). In his speech, Seth recalled the impact Ting had on him during a visit to his Grade 1 class: “I realized cartoons were drawn by a real person and it was something you could do for a living when you grew up…” Many have found similar inspiration in Ting and his work.
