Label TextOn October 27, 1863, John Cameron (1843-1908) introduced the London Advertiser. This daily evening paper, often with a more Liberal outlook, became the chief competitor of the London Free Press, a morning paper often with a more Conservative perspective. After more than 70 years, the Advertiser folded in 1936. The Free Press took over its subscription roll.
