Label TextThis ink roller was used by Philip John Pook Senior while employed as a printer. Pook worked for both Reid Brothers & Company, the oldest book binding shop in London, and Lawson & Jones, a longstanding London printing company. Reid Brothers & Company was a stationary manufacturing company located in London during the 1800s into the early 1900s. Lawson & Jones was established in 1882 by Frank Lawson (1861-1911), a reporter with the London Advertiser, and Henry J. Jones (1864-1952), a compositor with the same newspaper.
