Label TextBenjamin Rickaby Stitt (1890-1961) worked for the London Bakery from 1953 until his death in 1961. Max Feldman owned the bakery, which was a kosher shop. Stitt decorated the cakes and created this Star of David template to do it. Max Feldman was born in Poland in 1901 and came to Canada in 1921 or 1922 (unclear in 1931 census). His wife, Mary, was also born in Poland around 1903 and came to Canada in 1924. They had three children, Sarah, born in 1926, Evelyn born in 1928, and Frederick born in 1929. The family was Jewish. In 1931, Max was a driver with the London Bakery.
